Mott set out to form a group of like minded musicians from the working musicians in the area, with the intent to write, produce and record the best original material possible.The group named themselves the Bluesicians combining two words associated with music, Most modern music has been touched in some way by the Blues.The group Blusicians produced the songs and recorded them.The group received a generous offer from a major record label to purchase the songs and we would release all rights to the songs and its master recording only.So the group decided if the songs were that good we should start our own label and self release our material.This is how we come to this point in the music career of Mott Perkins, who is still active in writing and producing smooth jazz recordings, with intent of making the best music possible.We hope you enjoy.
